After losing to TCU, the men's team drops 2 spots to #28. The team will travel to Beaumont to face #68 Lamar on Saturday. On Sunday, another test occurs when Rice hosts #25 SMU.

After beating USF, the women's team moved up to #54. On Sunday, Rice will host a match at the same time as the men's team, vs former conference rival #29 Tulsa. Katherine Ip remains in the singles rankings at #66.
