One of the best HS coaches is the BBHC McGary at Parker HS who was a refugee from WEHS when it was closed.

Something I want to bring up...

Schlessinger is still here. Either Haase is being really awesome and allowing him to stick around while Ehsan fills the position or something fell through.

Cory never said he was leaving in a statement and has Haase never announced he is coming with him.

I was one of the ones who said he was gone because he indicated so in some vague emoji comments on Facebook (bicept and tree).

The messages have since been deleted.

The other wild card here is he just got engaged to a girl who lives in Bham.

Maybe he is staying after all?

Saw that. All signs point to him staying.

RE: Now With Ehsan in Place, Who Will Be On His Staff
Murry Bartow hired West End head coach Robert Scott as his Assistant when Murry became UAB coach. Scott brought his two best players and two of the best players in the State, Myron Ransom and point guard Leandrew Bass. Both played four years at UAB and Ransom was a fifth yr senior due to a redshirt injury year. Scott left after one year. So you had two players who came to UAB because of their high school coach who was no longer there.

Ransom had numerous run-ins with Murry and generally was regarded as a player with an attitude. He may have changed his opinion of UAB over the years, but my impression based on his stint here is that UAB may not be his favorite place.
