I'm cautiously optimistic about this. It has potential to be a HUGE get, but the one thing that concerns me is what happened to make his playing time diminish so much?

I don't care who comes in, I'm just glad we have more depth.

Possible he just butts heads with Harbaugh. He has been there too long to be recruited by Jim. Jim has probably got his own guys starting to fill starting positions or at least dominating playing time. I doubt if he's been on the team 3-4 years he just started sucking, so yeah I'm happy.

This article stated that Antonio Howard had not enrolled in classes. I did a search on here and it sounded like he was a big recruit flip for you guys when you signed him. What's the story on him leaving?

Congrats on the Meesheegan kid. Him not getting playing time at Meesheegan has no bearing on what he could contribute in CUSA. And it sounds like a position you were thin at so good work.

P.s. You'll need all the help you can get in the secondary to prevent all those Western bombs being dropped! 04-cheers

Honestly he's just undersized for the Big 10. He went to Michigan as a 5'9" 160 lb corner with 4 star coverage skills. I'm sure they thought they could get him up to 180-185, but it never happened and they recruited bigger corners over him.

Given our defensive scheme, if he can cover we don't need him for run support. The Big 10 and CUSA are two different defensive dilemmas.
