I know there are a nice handful here of people who have pretty much been 100% sure he won't get drafted but I've always thought he'd go late rounds at the least (highest being 5th). A LOT of scouts have noticed that even though he's undersized, he's enough of a freak athlete to make the move to inside linebacker and wreak havoc on blitz packages.... So, now that Ford is picking up steam and could end up a gem/sleeper pick in the NFL, are there still doubters?

Wouldn't be surprised if a team takes him late. Small and fast but good potential at LB.

Schiller had a pretty decent preseason run w the Falcons and Rams. Don't see why Ford couldn't as well if he gets picked up by the right team

Lynch was great here but he is not an NFL player, plain and simple.

And there is no vendetta with NIU from the Bears. Just because two players from NIU were on the team and didn't have good runs for them doesn't mean jack. There's a reason why both of them weren't picked up by other teams after they were released.

He can make a great Middle with his speed/ tackling and ability to shed blocks. Every week he went against a line that was bigger than him. If I were the Bears I would get him in the 4th or 5th round.

He was always too small to be an end. But he was the best end we had. The D- Ends at NIU are always playing out of position.
