Serious question: did you feel that way before Pitt went to the ACC?

Like, I grew up as a Seton Hall fan in the 80s and 90s and conference loyalty was always a big part of being for a BE team, because it was an upstart league. And our natural enemies were always the bluebloods in the ACC, who thought their basketball supremacy was a natural right or something.

As a Pitt fan, I certainly had much more loyalty to the Big East than I do to the ACC in basketball. However, in football I root for other ACC teams because I feel like it is unfairly disrespected.

Congratulations indeed! First you give them hope and let them back in and then you kill them. That's far more cruel! The thread should have been titled "The Revenge of the Big East".
Your EXACTLY spot on.

But be sure to call the BIG EAST CHAMPIONS!

Way to go NOVA!

I think this run by Nova will quiet down the doubters of the Big East quite a lot. (Then again I wasn't one of the doubters to begin with.)

Exactly, us Rutgers fans proximity to these schools and the fact that they kicked our butts for years in the Big East left us with the knowledge that these schools (DePaul aside) could play big time basketball.
