Not only is it hard to keep your intensity up every game but it's hard to respect every opponent you play. That's their 3rd loss to a last place team out of 9 losses total. They were humilated by the Lakers and blew a 17-point lead today. They still have two with the Spurs, so we'll see if they merely get 70 wins or are able to win out and break the record.

I also think they're physically and mentally exhausted. Missing shots and playing nail biters with teams they should crush. Going for the record has taken a lot out of them and certainly opens the door a bit for the Spurs and maybe the Thunder

They'll at least tie the record but they're obviously far from a lock to break it now.

Spurs use the motivation of losing their only home game to the Warriors as their push for the title this year.
