Yawn, UH smack? Don't you think I know Houston basketball is mostly irrelevant at the moment? That didn't stop them from winning in Connecticut however, at least in basketball. And even a loss in football didn't stop UH from going to grander heights (again) than UConn has ever been.

I can't really talk smack to Syracuse fans about men's basketball this year. I would say that Syracuse exceeded expectations and went further than any of us could have imagined. Boeheim and his team deserve credit for making as deep a run as they did. Meanwhile, UConn had a good amount of talent and just really couldn't put it together all year. They were getting close to putting it together by the end, but they still weren't quite there.

I also have to give props to the Syracuse women. I don't see them beating UConn tomorrow night, but at least it is nice to be playing our old rival for all the marbles in some form of basketball (even though I wish that the UConn men and Syracuse men eventually meet in a national title game).

The post above is respect....back at you. Incredible run by the UConn Women...hopefully it'll be a great game on Tuesday.

UConn bball once lost to USF during a season in which it won the national championship.

Congrats, you are now in the same category as USF!

Houston also helped popularize UConn's favorite sport. You wouldn't be bragging about what UConn has done the last quarter century without the Game of the Century and Phi Slama Jama, so don't even try to make it out as if Houston is UCF or even Gonzaga (overall).

Did anybody ever figure out what it is that Jim Boeheim is supposed to be right about?
