He's good enough for the league. Not sure why he doesn't stick...

Plus he's a little long in the tooth (29 years old).

Has that Rodney Carney problem with an added dash of a big arse mouth.

Carney had a mouth?

Carney didn't have a mouth. He was a good player who couldn't stick despite obvious talents.

RE: Triple double for CDR
CDR's biggest problem is that he is a great scorer and not much else. Extremely gifted at putting the ball in the baskets...alas, he isn't much of a defender (could be in part due to the attitude), doesn't have a great outside shot, and is a 'tweener. Not as quick as he needs to be to guard the off-guard, not big enough to guard many small forwards.

I would think that would be enough for the NBA, but I guess not. At 29, his days are numbered. Hope he gets a shot and a contract.

Couldn't dribble with his left hand.

They wouldn't have a league if attitude was an issue.

He's a tweener, would have to find the right team for his game.

Carney or CDR?

Carney is a small forward and should be a marksman.

3 and D should have been his speciality.

Yep. I seriously doubt that many posters here have ever heard of Swaggy P and JR Smith. I doubt CDR's so called "attitude" is even close to theirs. The "attitude" thing goes back to Tony Jabroni not liking him when the worked out for the Grizz. That's the same genius who was so enthralled with Thabeet.

CDR then called out some teammates at New Jersey and then the "attitude" stuff started.

Didn't realize he was playing with the TEXAS LEGENDS here in Frisco. Oh well, maybe next year.

Attitude plus the right level of talent is accepted in the league. Just going off the examples thrown out...

JR Smith if I'm not mistaken is top 10 in 3's made in the league. You can deal with that type of attitude.

Swaggy P, well for one I don't think he has an attitude problem as far as with the coach or teammates. He makes dumb selfish plays at time though for sure.
2nd he plays for the Lakers...

There are plenty of guys like CDR 65'5-6'7 that can do the same things he can. You have to be able to separate yourself.

If you are a wing and can't hit 3's then you better be a great defender and he is not. That was always his main problem.

It's all about the 3 point shot now. Last nights game was typical. CDR shot well from 3 his last year here. I guess he couldn't handle the pro distance
