my problem with that is that they start by saying the search is down to 3 finalists? how do they know that? b/c its the 3 theyve read about on BlazerTalk? i dont recall hearing about XCJH being a finalist until he was hired

I'd rather just jab pencils in my ears because if I'm going to feel pain I want to do it to myself.

Its the 3 that have been given an interview, If more were given interviews then more would be on the list. They are not going to hire a coach without an interview.

We don't, that is under wraps right now. I can't get anything from anyone (mostly because I don't have the best sources for this yet, still my first year doing this) but I do expect some more names being thrown around. Scott Padget is a name that could pop up and I expect it too. But for now we are going off what we know.

You can't say that the search is down to three finalist when you don't know who has been interviewed.

it said "we're down to 3 candidates"--which gives the impression that the list has been narrowed down to those 3.

granted, its nitpicky...but thats pretty much where the segment lost me

Yea, and Ill take that to heart, It was just in my opinion that it was down to 3 people and now its down to 1. Some might step in the mix but for now we only have 1 confirmed candidate for the job. Thanks for the advice man.

yessir...

"One confirmed candidate" meaning you have no idea how many there are. All we know for sure is that there is at least one, and two fewer than there were yesterday.
