For my conference I chose:

Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, and LSU. It had a popularity rating of 29%.

I went with closer regional travel between six states (longest distance between schools - 8 hour drive), existing rivalries and basketball quality to compliment football strength.

Here is my new MAC. I trimmed the teams down to 10 by booting Miami, BG, Kent, Eastern Michigan, and Ball State. I added Marshall, Pitt, and WKU. Regular season would be 9 game round robin.
