Let me try this one more time. I merely stated truth about a lie. Voiced my displeasure with it, and more so with the whole recruiting, walkon and AAU. It's not a pretty game and IMHO it's why basketball ,particularly, doesn't always get the best players, (i.e., IQ, skill, toughness , heart). Unless it's an elite program. Their aren't many of those.

But again the point of all this was that there are many here that can't just make a point and go on. It's over and over and over. Anyways. Take care. And good comment about the transfer rule. Lol

37% fg last season. He was very inconsistent. Shot better this season. So there probably were many wanting him off the floor last year. I thought he was starting to show signs of life mid season this year. He also seemed to start driving the ball a little more and mixing it up more during the games.

There were people wanting TB to see more floor time. There were people wanting Avery to come off the bench. I don't recall anyone, much less many, "wanting to take his scholly and run him off campus".

In 14-15, TB shot a better overall %, better 2P%, had more assists, more blocks, doubled up Avery in total rebounds, and had only a few less steals and a few more turnovers all in less minutes. Avery shot a better 3P% and better from the line.

This past year, TB shot a better 2P%, FT%, way more rebounds, assists, blocks, and more steals all in less minutes. Avery shot a better 3P% and had better turnover numbers.

I agree that I thought Avery played better this year, but I still think we would have been a better team with TB getting more minutes. He should have never befriended Iverson.

Well we do have some fickle fans. Lol

Woodson did come off the bench more this year than the previous. Played similar minutes. Most all his numbers went up.

Agree on Burrell. He was arguebly our second best player. Me and my boy had some strong words for the coaching staff as we sat under the basket in the uconn home game. He sat the entire game. Street clothes in first half. Dressed in second. Close at the half. Immediately got blown out and they wouldn't put him in. We weren't happy.

Really? Not doubting you, but I don't recall that; nor have I ever seen that before.
