It does make me wonder if the Bibby kid ends up in Memphis. Poor beleaguered Pastner has five open scholarships for next year. He also has two open assistant coach slots. Then there is Pastners Arizona connection. Another interesting connection is Mike Bibby's father, Henry Bibby is an assistant with the Grizzlies.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Terry working for Pastner next year.

Sort of like a poker game with Bama hiring Johnson and UAB replying "I'll see your NBA hire and raise you two NBA greats -- and a recruit besides". As was said, an interesting "outside the box" thought.

Bibby working with Pastner was mentioned in 3 different Arizona paper's articles I found. It's a more likely landing point for Bibby and maybe even his son.

Interviewing Jason Terry had nothing to do with Bama. I know that's hard to wrap your mind around.

Thanks. I've made my case for Ehsan and I stand behind it. I just think it's worth noting Terry could bring some interesting things to the table.

Avery Johnson did not win an NBA championship with the Mavs. He was fired about three season before the Mavs won in 2010.
