Baseball: SBC Weekend Games April 1-3. The Unstoppable Ryan Scott
Seriously, the dude is literally impossible to stop. He single-handedly delivered the Trojans to a 5 game league winning streak, leaving them 5-4 heading to App State, who actually won a game last weekend.

In terms of other unstoppable forces, It's UL-Monroe who must solve the riddle that is South Alabama this weekend. The Jaguars are 9-0 in league play, and absolutely abysmal in midweek games against teams not named Southern Miss.

Conference:

Little Rock at Appalachian State
UL-Monroe at South Alabama
UL-Lafayette at Arkansas State (ESPN3)
UT Arlington at Georgia State
Texas State at Georgia Southern

Nonconference:

New Orleans at Troy

Future SBC:

Gardner-Webb at Coastal Carolina

Arkansas State and ESPN Have worked out a deal to televise our home conference baseball games on ESPN3 for the rest of the season, so all 3 games against the Cajuns will be on the Network. Game times are 6pm Friday, 4pm Saturday, and 1pm Sunday

South is 3 -4 in mid week games; but we are 0 - 3 against teams from Louisiana.

Something falling from the sky in Statesboro . . . If it were anywhere else, I'd call it rain.

It's Statesboro . . . so it could be a plethora of Gnats . . . . Doubleheader on Saturday . . . Insect infestation /Rain permitting . . . .

Go Cats . . .

ULM @ USA is rained out tonight. This will be our third home series (with Little Rock series being moved here) and all three will have featured a double-header due to a rainout.

They are definitely out around Savannah and have been for a couple of weeks.

AState had a 7-0 lead over ULL after 5 innings. Then we blew it.

7-6 AState Bottom 7

Is it really a mystery? The combined record of those five teams is 85-49-1. Three of them have RPIs in the top 100, two of those are top 50.

stAte guys, I like these TV commentators ya'll have. I watched last night's game and currently watching today's.
They aren't obnoxious homers. You can tell who they root for, but they aren't annoying about it. They are also very knowledgable of both teams, and are even doing a decent job of the Cajun name pronunciations.
A+ work by that crew. Also, picture quality is great.

Apps with the 8-7 walk-off win. Was down 7-3 at the stretch.

That's our normal radio crew. You might remember Baumgartner, He was an all conference player about 5 years ago for us. Drove you guys insane a few times. Play by Play Matt Stolz is excellent, and is probably the least biased PBP man around.

The downside is that when he does TV, we're forced to listen to our Women's Basketball announcer do the radio for baseball, and he's horrible. Rest of the crew are Radio/TV students here, they do a wonderful job.

Cajuns win game 2 5-2. Rubber Match will be tomorrow at 1pm. Their starter today was just downright nasty.

TXST up 2-0 over GS in game 2.

Rodney is outclassed.

It's time for a change.

Not especially, Ty has had more than his fair share of headscratcher moments over the years; including this one. We lose more games we shouldn't because of it. We love the guy but are afraid we're kind of stuck in a certain mode every year. (potential not met)
