Tulane fans certainly can't complain about lack of coverage for the baseball team in the CWS. Same goes for local tv and radio. The coverage is outstanding.

Congratulations on the 1st-round win! OwlJacket & I were rooting for you. 04-cheers

You know... this team's game plan seems to be "make the fans sweat... then pull it out late in the game". Hope it keeps working -- now go smack the (deleted) out of whatever Big-$-12 team you see in the next game!

Nice job well done, Green Wave. I was also rooting for y'all. Here's to a good game on Monday.

BTW, don't mind the Hooter fans. They're 0-5 against us ever since their boorish unsportsmanlike behavior back in the 2003 CWS. :D

Speaking of boorish unsportmanlike behavior (and this time actually involving events that took place in the real world), are you guys actually going to shake hands if you lose this year?

I am very sorry about your loss. What a way to end a game?!?!

I really have no team that I can feel warm and fuzzy about left in this CWS. But you guys did well.

I'm facing all of this with mixed emotions. The final loss was as injurious to my emotions as any loss I have ever experienced. However, I have such great respect for Jones, the coaches and the players, coupled with the joy they provided me throughout the season, that I still feel a large degree of satisfaction. I have never been happier to support a team.

I feel the same way.

I just imagine the pressure the whole team felt, being favored to win the national championship starting at the beginning of the season.

In a way, it's almost a relief it's over. I was more nervous at the end of that game than I've ever been during a sporting event in my life. I don't know if I could have made it through 5 or 6 more games.

Also, I HATE being the away team in baseball.

Irregardless of the final outcome of the CWS, the 2005 Tulane Baseball Team was the BEST team in the country. 04-cheers
