It isn't going to happen. If you want to pitch in 4 or 5 million then maybe they will listen to you. 10 million dollars. Think about that, count it, one thousand one...one thousand two..realize we aren't going to fire a this man who is doing everything but winning big right now. He has a contract that owes him 10 million dollars, no matter what, and support from people who are going to pay that 10 million dollars. They aren't going to pay him 10 million dollars to walk away. The University cannot pay Pastner 10 million dollars if they wanted to, they simply cannot.

Honestly, I don't blame our boosters and the best thing any of us can do, as frustrating as it is, is support this program instead of constantly complaining. Pastner is the same guy he has always been, but our fans turning on him and the program are not helping our situation. Pastners worth to the University is considerable, despite the lackluster record.

Believe it or not it could be worse, everyone keep on with the negativity and you may see. Can we at least get through recruiting and off season without this constant bashing? I'm hoping Pastner has hit bottom. This team could turn it around next season, maybe not big time but significantly simply by having a shorter and more mature rotation. Who knows what might happen with the right chemistry, we do have some potential especially if Dedric comes back. The young man is a double double machine and will get 35 minutes a game next year.

you got 10.6 million sitting around? if not, STFU...seriously.

Well two points...first it's not 10.6 as a lump sum and yes the money is already budgeted. In saying that, the money has been pledged and SOME of it has been donated. So the university doesn't have to pay 10.6 the day he's fired.

As someone on this thread already pointed out, the real problem is finding someone who will donate for the new coach. Part of this is politics within the BB boosters. Sort of like any group there is a hierarchy. If the blue bloods refuse to do something the rest of the group can sometimes tend to follow.

Now I'm going to speculate a bit, but I'm in the ballpark when I say that if Dr. Rudd could have found a way...any way...to make it happen it already would have. I will also say I'm not 100% sure it still won't happen.

Just understand that many of us are all about having a winning program that builds the schools national brand. However, when there's this much money involved things can be more about power and prestige. Remember Shaq's words in the interview...he respects Josh as a business man!

It's just a matter of time. Pastner is a fraud.
