State Trooper murdered in Richmond, VA today..
A terrible tragedy. Guy just walked up and shot him in the chest. Will we hear from Obama and BLM about this horrendous murder? No, we wont. That is sad for many reasons. Prayers for the deceased trooper and his family.

James Brown III or Aurora, ILL. The man who coldly walked up and murdered the trooper. So where is Obama and BLM with their outrage over this murder. Where are Jesse and Al with their anger about this murder? Of course BLM wants dead cops. They have stated that fact along with Sharpton. I guess they are happy.

Trooper Chad Dermyer, a 37-year-old decorated Marine vet and married father of two. Murdered in cold blood by James Brown. Where is the anger from our President? Where are the riots protesting this senseless murder? Don't police lives matter?

Nope.

The police are tyrants to the Left and Obama.

I thought you would be celebrating that the killers second amendment rights were not violated.

The state trooper was a great guy. He and his partner rescued a dog that got loose & was running down I 64 & I664 in hampton.

Is a great lose.

And why would you think that? Yes I do understand the BLM issues & agree with many of them, More so in that I understand death & loss of a loved one.

I still ask why this guy was carrying a legally purchased gun.

He wasn't. As a convicted felon he was prohibited from carrying a firearm.

Greyhound also has strict no gun policies, including in baggage.

Because he bought it or stole it from whoever legally purchased it, and he is a violent criminal.

Brown has a long violent criminal history including murder, intent to kill, aggravated battery with a firearm, failure to obey police, resisting a corrections officer and aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, police said.

True - but the gun he was carrying was legally purchased. What I do not know is if he purchased it, or obtained it through a straw buyer, or whatever. Either way I see it as a gun control loophole. Which I do admit can never be totally closed.

Then why comment at all? Oh wait you're a lib, and a lib never lets a tragedy go to waste. Also, your lack of outrage at a cops murder is truly disgusting.

Unless he bought the gun prior to 1999 he couldn't legally buy the gun. If he bought it legally prior to 1999 he still couldn't legally possess it anywhere because he was a convicted felon and by law he was prohibited from possessing a firearm. The is no "loophole" where he could have obtained the gun....any possible way he obtained it was illegal, any possible way he possessed it was illegal.

But I wait breathlessly until you come back to tell us what kind of new law would have prevented it.

Going without oxygen for a long period may explain why someone is brain dead. Save the drama for cable. If you want my thought just say so.

In other words you have absolutely nothing but leftist gun control rhetoric to add and when it's pointed out that numerous laws and regulations were broken in this situation you have nothing. As usual. Huge shock considering your posting history.

Since you responded I am guessing you are breathing again.

I have a couple of married friends since High School who has a son who is a VA state trooper who knew this family. This happened in my neck of the woods.

I do not know how you define "leftist" , but most guns used in criminal activity & right wing terrorist attacks are purchased legally. They are often transferred via gun show loopholes.

I would suggest that anyone purchasing a gun has some insurance/bonding & if transferred needs to be transferred to someone who has insurance/bonding.

I have no problem with people owning guns. But I do not believe that the taxpayer & families of the victims should be left holding the financial baggage.

My suggestion I admit is a blue sky level. What are your thoughts on this?

Going to need you to back this claim up with some proof.

Try the internet that traces guns used in chicago to the deep south and on the east cost a similar trail. I just knoe what I have read in newspapers & the web.
