School never came easy to the kid but he had a work effort that was second to none. He struggled passing an end of course exam and I tutored him for a month and I really got to know him well. A Lifelong friendship began.
He started his own tree trimming and excavation service out of high school. After a storm a couple of years ago he was trimming a tree and fell out of it from 50 feet. He severed his 7th or 9th vertebrae. He's been driving a dump truck and running a lawn mower service since the accident. He posted this on his Facebook on Tuesday and it's over a million views.
I'm proud to show you this and Im especially proud of Nick. Who knows how these viral videos goes but it's at the top of Mike Roews Facebook now.
