Mixed emotions? Yep laughing his ass off that UAB would even consider a move.

Everyone seems to freak out on this board over Person. Maybe he is the best candidate for the job? At least we wouldn't be getting a Gump forced on UAB by the evil BOT. I think Ehsan and Person are both good choices. I would like to see new UAB coach adjust a little defensively and maybe Person could bring that to the table. BYU and Western Ky just torched our small guards with ball movement and passing over top for easy layups...I don't think Person could hurt UAB from an offensive standpoint either.

Any coach would be an improvement over the last 3 games. Did Ehsan have big role in those last 3 games for UAB?

I don't think Person would be bad. Some are characterizing him as washed up or a has-been and I don't think that's the case at all. The worst that can be said about Chuck is that he's unproven in the college game and he's never been a head coach. It would be hard to justify hiring him over a guy like Ehsan but that doesn't make him a bad candidate.
