Irrelevant. What happens to other reporters or what has happened in the past has no bearing on this event.

I think it sets a bad precedent for someone to say that if a woman files battery charges on a man, that she just wants attention.
I think it sets a bad precedent for a woman to say she was assaulted when she just got grabbed by the elbow. Its also a waste of court resources. So its pretty fair to say she wants attention. She quit her job because they didn't cater to her enough after the charge.

I know of a previous incident with the police that's true, I'll search for some of the links later. Which is why it would have helped her cause to not embellish what happened in her original tweet. If she had simply said "I was asking Trump a question, and dude grabbed me by the arm to yank me away and left bruises", well, that would be believable based upon what we see in the video. But what she said does not match the video, which is problematic.
That being said, Trump hasnt handled this very well either. Just like the way he handled the Milania ad from Utah. He could have pushed back on that ad and knocked it out of the park. Instead, he focuses his anger on Heidi Cruz, a person who had nothing to do with the ad that he was butthurt over.
