The coach looks foolish. Why would OM offer players they have no intention of signing? QB is set for the near future. TE is full. All the others aren't SEC caliber...

I addressed the TE, Ole Miss doesn't need to offer a 2-star TE, they signed 3 in last year's class...

OM just signed the top QB in 2016. They sign 1 a year and they have 2 realistic top targets for 2017. Don't need to offer Brennan...

I believe the QB is John Fourcade's nephew and that's really where the rub is here. He's mad that he hasn't received an offer. But, as Hometown has pointed out, QB numbers are tight at the moment. Maybe that changes after spring ball. They would have been smart to at least wait another couple of months after the camp circuit to see what was going to happen. There is plenty of time left between now and Signing Day 2017.

Nice problem to have, though. Senquez Golson hit it on the head with his quote that this coach laughed at him four years ago for accepting an Ole Miss offer and now he wants all his kids to get one. C'est la vie.

Yep - the kid WANTS to play at Ole Miss. Freeze only likes to take 1 QB per class & they have identified Tristan Gebbia (consensus 4-star QB whose father played at OM) as their #1 target. The Rebels lead for his commitment right now.

I think it is a bit over the top for the coach to single out Ole Miss like that.

We've faced that same type of stuff from Memphis City Schools coaches who pitched a fit when an OVC level rated player was not offered by us ... and in the next breathe steered their top talent AWAY from us.

Mylese tweeted out a photo of himself with LSU OC Cam Cameron, saying something to to the effect of "I'm committed to LSU and that isn't changing"...

I don't know if he'll end up at Ole Miss afterall, but I'll say this ... I don't think he'll stick with LSU IMHO. If he does, I'd be surprised if that's where he finishes his career.
