Can I take Presidential Politics for 500 Alex.
Ted Cruz or Donald Trump.
buzzer:
The two GOP presidential candidates that Democrats would most like to face in the general.
I still can't believe the good fortune that the D's have that one of those two are going to be the headline ticket for the GOP this fall. Honest to goodness. One has no filter and the other looks and acts like a guy who would buy an ice cream truck as a front to be a child molester. Cruz has "THE ULTIMATE" creep factor to me. I still can't believe that these are the two that the GOP came out with. It's crazy. Hillary with all of her warts is extremely vulnerable but is getting a layup to the presidency. Crazy. A Democrats dream team of opposition.

RE: Can I take Presidential Politics for 500 Alex.
Ok talking politics seriously here. I don't think either Trump or Cruz will get to 1237 delegates. Trump would need to team up with another candidate to put him over the top but he's personally destroyed everybody so I don't see that happening except for maybe Kasich. I don't see Kasich reciprocating. Cruz/Kasich or Cruz/Rubio still fall short of 1237. Maybe if Cruz/Kasich/Rubio pool all of their delegates, they might get there.
I also don't see the GOP nominating a new comer. It's not easy to just suit up and run for president. I think they have to pick somebody who is already running. I just don't know how they get there. The establishment is all about stopping Trump and will deny him the nomination even with 1236 delegates, so that leaves only some kind of Cruz/Kasich/Rubio ticket.

I agree....if Trump falls 'one shy', anything is plausible by the reds.....
regardless, if that happens, the blue wins all day and the eighth one....
and you know that....
we all know that....
the media faghags read 'this' board.....
I'm a broken record at this point.....

Good Post. It is Crazy how the masses vote for the least electable. I actually think Trump would do better than Cruz but both will lose. At least Trump is real and authentic.

Establishment thinks they can blow off Trump at 1236 and everything will return to normal next cycle. They can go back to playing the old game.
Maybe, but I doubt it.

If the GOP leadership is stupid enough to do that, then I strongly doubt it ever becomes the same again. Most likely you would see a political make up of roughly 30% D, 15% R and 55% I. The GOP guarantees that it will be a secondary party forever.
