I am not sure if Toledo is the place for him, but he is the type of player Toledo has been lacking besides Jordan Lauf -- tough minded, gritty, etc. I am sure every team will do their due diligence on the health of his hips before offering him. What he lacks in athletic ability and size, he makes up for it in pure hustle and determination. Just check out the Michigan Message Boards today to see how their fan base feels about him.

Spike has a Toledo connection since his older brother played here 1 semester. When asked about his relationship with the UT coach at the time, his comment was that he had no relationship

Michigan is blocking him from going to another Big Ten school for his fifth year. Of course Michigan's starting quarterback this year was a fifth year player from Iowa and the Wolverines had no issue with it. Hypocritical nonsense.

That is good news for UT if he so desires to compete for a position with the Rockets. Obviously Coach K may have other ideas.

Remember Michigan didn't play Iowa in football last year. Iowa allowed Rudock to transfer to Michigan because they were not on the schedule. Basketball is a different story.
