Women's Hoops Team
http://www.emueagles.com/news/2015/11/12...ath=wbball

The recruiting for the women's team was completed back in November.

I know we had high expectations for the women's team for last season.

Given our losses and the newcomers what's the prospects for next season?

RE: Women's Hoops Team
First this team will be much, much different...

We lose both centers, Baldwin and Kehoe, plus Ozelci.

Our two sitouts, Nickens and Tiggs, are both forwards, I believe.

Who plays center? Do remember that Verdi plays the same zone as Murphy.

Need a legitimate center. Can't go to a two forward/three guard lineup.

RE: Women's Hoops Team
Just one point about Baldwin.

Some here do not like graduate eligible transfers but Baldwin was a god-send for the women's team. She was good and got much better as the season went on.

Baldwin's play was invaluable as Sweeney had some real struggles within part of the conference season.

Too bad her knee wasn't better. Those who watched Baldwin play could see that she had a heavy 'brace' on one knee.

Even with one knee, she was a very effective player. Enjoyed watching her play.
