Have you seen next year's roster? Everyone has a shot at playing. Jake got playing time this year. We are so thin JP may have to put out flyers on campus for bodies just so we can scrimmage...

Some of these walkons could possibly get scholarships this year because there is little chance that Boy Wonder is going to be able to find five warm bodies that will be better than some of the walkons that are leaving.

You know it's getting bad when a guy will pass on getting a full ride to go play at a DII school or NAIA.

Here's what was said about Scott last summer:

"2015 three-star Campbell (Ga.) shooting guard Dante Scott has committed to Memphis and will join the team on July 7, multiple sources told GoTigers247.com on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-4, 205-pound guard will walk-on with the Tigers, despite having offers from Mississippi State, George Mason and Massachusetts, among others.

Scott is considered the 23rd best player in the state of Georgia, and the No. 88 shooting guard in the 2015 class by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was originally committed to Mississippi State, but decommitted after the hiring of Ben Howland in late March.

One source called the addition of Scott a "hell of a deal" considering the fact that the three-star guard will not use up a scholarship for next season. He is also eligible right away, and should challenge for playing time at the two and three position."
