Pulling from MAC talk board, a good scheduling formula I think for a MAC school is to go up and down 10 from your RPI and see who wants to come play us or will have us. This list would put some nice names on the board for next year. Thoughts? Now the selfish side of me would like an IPFW home and home, their RPI ended in the 70s

Here is what we know so far for next season's men's basketball non-conference schedule:

Home: Detroit and Green Bay. I assume we will also host Youngstown State and Loyola Chicago since we played them on the road this past season.

Away: Middle Tennessee State (the team who upset Michigan State in the Big Dance), St. Joseph's (Atlantic 10 Champs), Cleveland State

They will also be playing in a tournament in Nashville, where they will play Middle Tennessee State a second time.

Middle Tennessee and St. Joseph's will play at Savage the following season.

Hope that Middle TN St game is early November so I can possibly go to it

St Joseph's at Savage would be a key game.

Can UT not get teams like George Washington or Valpo to play? Both teams were in the NIT final.

Took a couple reads to figure out that first sentence. It works either way I interpreted it but the first one had nothing to do with basketball.

Next year's schedule is shaping up as one of coach k's better ones. Looks liken at least 3 games w teams who advanced in the tournament this year.
