I admit I was a skeptic that they even belonged in the dance. But dayum. Feel a lot better about MTSU losing to them now that they've shown they were final four material. I'm in no way rooting for them but I am a bit impressed.

I don't. Based on their performance after the completion of the regular season they should have not even made the field of 68. Now they have proven they have the talent also notice some of the main contributors are freshman, Lydon & Richardson.
Not a big fan of Syracuse basketball, seems a lot of underhanded things go on behind the scenes. I hope they lose.

No. They shouldn't have made the tournament. They got a gift making the tourney. They got a gift seed. Then they got the gift dream draw. They had to beat Dayton, then two lower seeded teams, then the weakest #1 seed in the history of the tournament. Could Valpo have made that same run? We'll never know because they would never get a gift like that.

I'm cheering for Nova to win it all right now.

What's amazing to me is how a team that lost five of its last seven games has been able to play that well consistently over the course of four straight games.

It's frustrating to think of what might have been. When we lost Ivory and then Simpson with the broken ankle at the conference tourney we lost two of the three guys who could run the point. The third - Raymond - wasn't ideal but played really well especially defensively down the stretch and when he went out of that game with four fouls the situation went from a two-point game to a blowout in a matter of minutes.

We should have gambled and left him in. Who knows what might have happened.

I'm fairly certain Kermit is having nightmares right now....

I smashed a remote watching that game.....haven't watched one since...

regardless, you guys did one helluva job over the course of the year.....hell, I can only wish we had an opportunity.....

Nope... Again, they shouldn't have even been in the tournament.

Congrats, they went on a run of consecutive wins in the tourney.. so be it. Still doesn't mean they deserved a better seed.

If MTSU doesn't upset Michigan State, Syracuse isn't in the Final Four.
