There is no mention of our newly committed JC transfer. You would think he is the most likely candidate to take over as PG.

Though that was odd, too. Article mentions Stuckey leaving, and I thought the prevailing opinion was that the recruiting of the new JUCO PG was commensurate with Stuckey telling TK he was transferring, so you would think that he would have been mentioned as well? I thought perhaps the article may have been actually written a couple weeks ago and was "on ice" until now but that would imply that there was earlier knowledge that Stuckey was leaving, since it's mentioned in the article, or that the article was revised before print but for some reason still lacked the JUCO info...

We'll all know more after signing day...until then I don't count on verbals anymore...

He has not signed his National Letter of Intent (NLI) yet. So Coach K is not allowed talk about him according to the NCAA.

Just like TK is not allowed to mention Justin Roberts till after his NLI is signed. Hopefully both players will sign, and UT will not lose one at the last minute.

Re-reading the article, the reference to Roberts and Rogers isn't an actual quote from TK. Perhaps those mentions are just hypothesis from the reporter. Even the remark about Sanford isn't written as an actual quote, but seems to be reported as a "summation" of what TK said.

I believe April 15 is national signing day this year for basketball.

The article did not mention if anyone else is leaving the program. It also did not mention Chandler White as possibly in the mix. The article actually raised more questions than it answered.

Tax filing day has been moved to Monday - guessing signing day has moved also.

I assumed filing day was moved so we could enjoy signing day before we start our taxes.

That makes more sense. Thanks.

basketball signing days are usually less dramatic than football and everything doesn't always go official on the first day.

both of the new guards are aggressive players, but neither is big or seems particularly physical. ironically, the most physical guard on the roster is probably chandler white who never played.

Chandler White looks like he could be a strong safety for the football team. When he did get his few minutes, White was very aggressive going to the hole, but seemed to get assessed a lot of offensive fouls in the process. Hope he sticks with the program.

He seemed very, very quick but immature, not as a person but as a player.

We now have an answer to the question regarding Chandler White. He is gone and the revolving door continues.

The "revolving door" is on every college team. EVERY team averages 1-2 transfers out per year. To act like it's a UT only problem is ignorant.
