Impressive win by Syracuse, but I am struggling with something, they clearly didn't have a resume to be in the tournament, but are succeeding in the tournament, does that mean you just throw out resumes?

That means that just because you didn't get into the beauty contest it doesn't mean your not as hot as some that made it.

Matchups matter. Syracuse is usually a tough out with their long players and zone D.

It's all small sample size too.

MD please, you do not have to admit you were biased against Syracuse but stop saying they didn't have a resume. You are Cardinal and Black through and through, but also too stubborn for your own good.
Syrcasue's non-conference schedule included wins over (then #18) UConn, (#25) Texas A&M plus games versus Wisconsin and visits to Georgetown and St. John's --- before even starting the ACC schedule which meant they played home and away against tournament teams North Carolina, Virginia, and Pittsburgh, along with games versus Virginia, Notre Dame and Duke, plus a then-top 25 rated Louisville. Personally, I don't care for Boheim or the program, but those foes mentioned are 15 games for which every MAC school would be an underdog. As noted by randyfensfaclcub1, Syracuse was 3-5 vs. Sagarin's Top 25, 6-10 vs. the top 50. the ENTIRE MAC was 1-16 vs. the Top 50.
As RedandBlackAttack mentioned: Syracuse's SOS was 43, Akron 122. Every time you continue this "no resume, TV ratings, knew the judges" argument it sounds petty and jealous, as if you're oblivious you're digging your way to China.

Who would of thought that when Izzo came here for the banquet last year that at this point in the season we would still be playing and he would be sitting at home eating popcorn? Wonder if Monty has been on the phone with him asking him for advice.
