Time to get Blake his first victory of the year. He's pitched solidly since the season-opening debacle. We're going against a pitcher very similar to Blake, but with even less velocity, and even more hittable...

...note he's averaging just one strikeout every 2.5 innings pitched, and has actually issued more free passes than he's struck out batters. His WHIP is a very poor 1.81.

Hopefully, both Dunlap and DiCaprio will be in the starting lineup. Go Owls!

Rice up 4-2 now. Men on 2nd and 3rd, one out.

Pitching change for ODU. 5 runs for Fox is more than Rice has scored all season long when he's been pitching (there was one game we scored a bunch of runs after he had left the game; otherwise, we were at 4 runs on the season when he was still on the mound).

Still 5-2 Rice, now in the 5th inning. Fox works out of a bit of a jam in the 4th.

Some seriously bad baserunning cost Rice at least one run in B5.

3rd base coach costs us a run. No reason to send the runner on 2nd to 3rd when the runner on 3rd is going to score on a fly out.

Fly was to shallow right center. Chandler was on 2nd, but he isn't that fast.
