Tory just described life on the road as road warriors. Got to Dallas at 9 last night and then film and shoot around today.

One or two games does not a road warrior make. Yes they started slow but almost pulled it. If you play on the road a lot you develop a rythum and make adjustments. If you don't have the financial backing then you have to make lemon aid out of lemons.

RE: Women's tourney?
And remember we were not that highly rated. The WNIT extends automatic bids to schools which won their regular season but not their conference tourney winners.

We were an at large, not an automatic bid.

And we all know getting an at large bid is so easy anyone can get.03-lmfao

RE: Women's tourney?
In women, there were 64 WNIT bids, almost half went to automatic and the rest to at large.

The women give 64 NCAA and 64 WNIT for a total of 128.

The men give 68 NCAAs, 32 (NOT 64 like the women) to NIT, 16 CBI, etc.

men's CBI is equivalent to a WNIT bid. Same with the top of the CIT or Vegas8.

I wish the men would go to a 64 team NIT and do away with the others. Same as the women.

RE: Women's tourney?
I beg everyone to take a look at women's basketball tournament scores. There are very few close games and ZERO buzzer beater games. There is no point to the women's basketball tournament. It will go completely "chalk" and UConn will win the championship game by 20+ points. How is that remotely compelling? What it tells me is that women basketball players do not compete once they get down...this has been going on for at least 30 years now.

I love those UConn nail biters. They've won 70+ straight games and none were decided by single digits.

Quick, what's your favorite women's buzzer beater? Upset? Trick question, there's never been one.

Way to reflect. I assume you cannot answer the question. UConn just beat Mississippi State in the Sweet 16 by...60 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Women's tourney?
Actually, the women's seedings for the Final Four are pretty balanced this year. (believe two #1 seeds made it to the Final Four).

That said, yes, the women do tend to have dynasties. Not so for the men...

The two co-favorites in Vegas for the men were Kansas and MSU. One was defeated before they broke a sweat and the other stayed around longer but is no longer with us as we journey from the Elite Eight to Final Four.

You do not get Sweet 16 games in men's basketball where one team (UConn) is up 61-12 at halftime and wins by 60 points. That is a farce. UConn just defeated a power conference team (Mississippi State) in a Sweet 16 game by 60 points...let that marinate for a moment.

Never been a women's buzzer beater or upset huh? Wow, that would be an amazing statistic, if it weren't so stupid, and false.

Your whole idiotic original premise was that women basketball players don't compete once they get down.

The fact that you even came up with such nonsense, and now use the ridiculously dominate UConn women's team to somehow prove your point, is hilarious and head shaking at the same time.

A troll from Iowa, AND a glutton for punishment.....keep the genius flowing Bobby!
