Field looks really nice- I've already taken the public tour of the facility, but I may go again Thursday just to get a closer look.

Does anyone know what the hold up is with the club-level seating? The other seats were put in a while back, but still no club level seats. The seat selection is coming up and I imagine that those seats would be the higher donors who are starting to pick their seats within the next week.

If one of those ideas is a brick facade around the exterior of the stadium then I am right there with you. One of the earliest mock ups have it but the more current drawings do not. The look of cement is a loss for eye appeal.

Well and brick is expensive, so there's solutions around that. Graphics, planting trees to hide it, etc...

I see a brick entrance arch, 2 concession + buildings, and the partially bricked skybox structure.
General Shale donated 1,000,000 bricks.
The average brick home has 5,226 bricks, so there were enough bricks donated for over 190 homes.
Seems like there should be a lot of bricks left to use somewhere.
Just a thought from someone with too much time on their hands. 07-coffee3

Correction: General Shale's donation was for a half million bricks. But it was specifically for the football stadium. Since the field house isn't going to be built, there should be enough for the wall. But I don't really care. The stadium is beautiful and I can't wait to pick my seats in a couple weeks.

Heard that there was to be a football jamboree at the new stadium next week but it was canceled because the stadium wasn't far enough along. Worries me a little the club seats aren't in yet. Always afraid something will be on back-order, not available, etc, typical stuff we all deal with when ordering new products. THAT would be a disaster.
