I went to the Ferris/GVSU game last year. That was an amazing sight to see. If you get a chance to go to this year's game, do it.

One thing about GLIAC and D-II.

It is NORMALLY deep under the radar, UNLESS, the program is very, very good.

GVSU and Ferris State have been very good and have gained a lot support (everyone loves BIG winners). Wayne State was had good success around 2010 and 11.

Think of some of those GVSU teams like the Golden State Warriors... Very dominant.

GVSU, though, has a 10K stadium with a lot of room for standees.

The game day atmosphere at GV for the Ferris game last year was outstanding. There were 16 K people jammed into the stadium that holds 10 K. The grassy hills at the ends of the bleachers and in the one end zone were stuffed with students. It seemed like every student from that school was at the game and dressed in black.

I wish we had consistent crowds of more than 10000

Just win baby! Although the final 2 home games of the season, on frickin' Wednesday and Tuesday, certainly won't help.

Got to give CC and staff credit the three guys we lost were quickly replaced by 3 late signees.

I can't say with certainty. QB is a demanding position, so maybe he was tied up there. Some football coaches want their players to play just one sport, but Brumfield high jumped. And then, maybe it's as simple as he didn't want to.

Super was there and so was I. Porter impressed me, nice slight of hand, had a couple of nice drives, Roback didn't consistently move the team, the other guy that impressed me on offense was Turner at RB, could be the starter, Vann had limited carries, didn't see Ericksen, Parker or Banham. Defense did very well against our offense, our FG kicking didn't look impressive at all, ditto punting, Pace was returning punts. Lots of recruits did show up. Considering the weather a decent crowd was there.

Over 160 potential recruits at game.
