As a Steeler fan since 1976 I loathe the prospect of Pax being a Cowgirl.

But as mentioned above it would be his best situation

Its kinda hard to see that unless they are planning on signing a solid veteran to start in 2016. And there isn't much on the market at all.

Pretty much all projections here seem to point to Pax simply not being ready for that this year. He is still raw for NFL standards and very young.

I have no doubt they are highly interested in him though. Just seems like a bad move for their situation unless they can get another starting QB. And that alone will be difficult.

RG3 signed with Cleveland and Ryan Fitzpatrick is coming off a strong year and will likely return to the Jets.

To be a cowboy, he needs to FALL, FALL, FALL in the 1st round.

So far, that is happening in the projections.

If he falls to mid-late 1st round, then they will be trying to trade up and grab him, while still taking a defensive player at #4.

Best case scenario is he falls to the 2nd round. Then they don't even have to trade away next years #1 to get him.

Its hard for me to see Pax falling that far though (2nd round) with his arm, size and scrambling ability. Someone is going to want to invest in his future. His upside is just too high not to stand up and take notice.

Cowboys second pick is at #34 isn't it? Maybe they could make some trades to pick up a QB if they don't select one at 4 which they still deny.

I still see Paxton going to the Rams. But no one knows what happens til it happens. With RGIII going to Cleveland do they still pick a QB at #2 and will it determine which QB they would pick?
