Would love to see Pastner be a leading candidate somewhere... Anywhere. Sadly, he isn't going to be anyone's first choice. Great Guy way below average coach. Unless something changes nothing is going to change.

The basketball world needs UNLV to be relevant again. We need more non P5s making noise. It would only be fitting for them to have a renegade coach.

Same thing I was thinking. College coaches salaries have sky-rocketed over the past two decades. Bill Bayno was making a buck and a quarter back in the 90's. You can't get an assistant for that now.

Fluid indeed. I read a story a few days ago that he had met with the AD and he was returning, guess that's the kiss of death. And the twitter has exploded today with Cronin and UNLV. Heard DeCourcey talking about it today.
