Pitt Panthers have just offered Sean Miller the job. This would be a huge upgrade!!!

Looks like an excited Pitt fan may have jumped the gun a little:

Sean Edward Miller (born November 17, 1968) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head men's basketball coach for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers.

He just turned it down.

Probably so... But Richie reported that Miller was in Pittsburgh and was offered the job. A school never offers a job and lets that leak if there's a great chance he won't accept it.

Maybe Pitt doesn't admit academically challenged athletes. That's the reason why Miller isn't coaching at Maryland.

Sean is not that cynical. But when people want to talk, you have to come to listen what they have to say. In this case, Pittsburgh did not wrap a great gift for him so Sean said thanks but no thanks.

Wishful thinking people did get disappointed. But it is a quick two-day turnaround so just little harm did to very few people.

Actually he learned from the best how to get something for nothing. Although he is a good coach, unlike his mentor.

A better play would be his brother Archie....

I agree I think Archie would be the better hire
