On a Saturday...early. On a Wednesday, you'll have a few out there early, but most of the tailgates won't really get going until school gets out for the day, so between 3 and 4pm.

Not sure how many rows there are but my seats are on row 15 in another section down from you. That's about half up to the concourse. High enough you can see the field well.

Not terrible. You'll be 15 rows up. I'm about 12 rows up a couple sections down from there, and you can see the entire field.

Sight Lines are pretty good throughout the stadium

My father said that there was 29 rows on the West side. I would assume the East is the same.

I have seats on rows 11 and 12 midfield on the other side. I wouldn't want to be much lower but I think it's close to the sweet spot of being close without losing out too much. You may have a few problems with formations when the ball is on the south side of midfield but with the slight angle you can glance up at the video board without any trouble.

Go to Skinny J's or JTown's for good local food. Plenty of chain restaurants if you're into that. Come out early to the tailgates on the south and west side of the stadium. I'm sure everyone will be friendly and maybe even give you a beer or something.

RE: stAte Fans?
You mentioned flying out of Columbia SC. It really isn't a bad drive should you want. I-16 to Atlanta area, hit I-20 to Birmingham, US 78 to Memphis(4 lane) and then to Jonesboro. Should take you roughly 9 hours of fairly easy driving to the stadium.

I'm coming from Augusta, just short of 9hrs, Columbia, SC is only a hour up I-20 from Augusta & Atlanta is about 2 hours away on I-20, I'm flying out of ATL though. My buddy is flying in from Northern Virginia/DC area.

For me it would be mostly I-20, no need for I-16
