I have never seen a team lose a 12 point lead with 47 sec left in any game

Had a little help from refs on a couple phantom fouls or play ons, but I total choke job it was... Give A&M credit for the fight though. Crazy

Unreal. I turned it on walking dead on the DVR. It ended and that game was still on. I figured it just picked up where it left off. Looked down and saw 2OT and A&M wrapping up the win. Couldn't believe it

SFA losing to Notre Dame like they did kinda turned my stomach, too. Soooo close.

For some reason, one thing that stuck with me about UNI's win over Kansas in 2010 was the fact that they nearly saw a nine-point lead evaporate in a minute because they could not inbound the basketball. That was unbelievable to me at the time. Of course, everyone forgot about it because of the insane three-pointer.

The fact that the shot was even needed was because of them giving up several points off of turnovers trying to inbound the ball. That three, itself, occurred off of a botched inbounds sequence where the ball was nearly stolen twice.

Six years later to the date, guess what happens.

They had to work hard to lose that game. It is the ole stop doing what you did all game and play not to lose routine..

Hated to see northern Iowa lose to Texas A&M. My limited experience with their fans turned me off to them. Aggie fans are some odd people.

The inbounder could run the baseline

all the had to do was run the line and hand it to there
player and wait to be fouled.

Time would have run out eventually.
And they wouldhave hit some free throws

That was the dumbest give away of a game

It's beyond choking. They gave up 14 points in 47 seconds when you considered they had a dunk in there also. That's giving up a basket about every 6 seconds. You could have just thrown the ball the length of the court every inbound pass. Even if the other team picks off the pass they have to bring it back up, make a pass and then shoot. You can't do that 7 consecutive times in an average of six seconds.

It's even worse then that. Texas A&M scored 12 points in the final 28 seconds.

It should. There were enough stoppages in play with the all the clock issues they were having. It was amazing to me they couldn't come up with something better than passing it to A &M directly or to one of their own guys in a corner where they would get trapped. It was ridiculous.

I agree. They're nice people, but they go off the deep end with all that "Aggie" stuff. I want to puke every time I hear one of them go "Whoop!" It's really annoying.
