Just about the craziest 2 minutes of basketball I've seen
First Northern Iowa-Texas and then St. Joe's-Cincy.

Pretty great Tourney so far.

That half court shot for the University of Northern Iowa win was awesome. Didn't see the Cincy game.

It's UNI. NIU is Northern Illinois.

I though the same exact thing and I texted a friend that those were two of the craziest endings I've ever seen and literally within a few min of each other.

If cincy had better academics their players would know to tip the ball rather than dunk with a fraction of a second left. Not to mention st joe is a better market.

Whoever wrote the script for Fridays' games should win an Emmy. Most would think the half court buzzer beater would be a great finale. But this guy decided to follow that up with the dramatic finish of a dunk at the horn not counting because players have been taught to always dunk the ball.

There is no way those endings were random. They had to have been choreographed. 03-wink

I had flashbacks -- or DTs -- maybe both. 03-wink

The UNI shot reminded me of the 2008 WKU game we one in OT against Drake. I was at that game and never will forget it.

For as good as the games were last week, this week has been equally as bad. 9 games so far and only 2 have been competitive.

I know this thread is about the men, but did ya'll see the score from the UConn - MS State game on the women's side....98-38. MS State was a 5 seed. UConn is why I've lost interest in the women's Final 4 games.

I agree. The talent pool for women's sports are not as good as men's , UCONN is getting the best 3-5 recruits every year then there is a huge drop off in talent for the rest of the world.

And UNI was on the bad end two days later blowing a ten-point lead in 30 seconds only to lose in double overtime.
