All sports except one. One Texas sports program and its coach own more national championships than any basketball or football team. Too bad the team, and the coach, doesn't get the deserved recognition outside of the world of its sport.

They've made the NCAA Tournament 17 times in the last 18 years and I think they've only missed it three times since 1989. It hasn't been garbage in a very long time.

When all you have to do is win 15 games to make the tourney that is not saying much. Bids are handed out like candy for some teams

A 15 win Texas team has never made the NCAA Tournament.
