Who suggested Lionel Hollins? What if he were the "seasoned" assistant coach?
This wouldn't happen, but what if the seasoned assistant coach brought in was Lionel Hollins? He's in the last decade of his coaching career, he is tough as nails, he has decades of experience in coaching in the NBA game, he's based in Memphis, and he'd be willing to roast Pastner when it's called for.

Unless this 'former head coach' has total authority over Gumdrop it's nothing more than a ploy to trick Tiger fans into wasting their time and money on going to basketball games.

That would happen in the initial interview. Those two would never even make into a practice together...

I would hope this means administration is hiring the coaches and not Paz. If thats the case, they hire a guy that josh hates and he decides to take a hike. Wishful thinking im sure but at this point im just grasping for straws.

It would never happen, but I would love it! Lionel would abuse Pastner mercilessly, it would be epic, only addiing Bobby Knight might be better, how about Knight and Hollins!

Unfortunately, Josh is in charge of hiring his assistant coaches and staff. In the contract... f##@ that contract.

Only if Hollins could handle the post game press conferences and they could be streamed live on pay-per-view.
