There are no more perfect brackets on ESPN. There were only 2 left prior to the Maryland game, and both of those had South Dakota.

Another Big12 flop coming up. Although I've watched SFA several times this year and I've been impressed.

IIRC, the NCAA itself aknowledged that 8/9 is not an upset in its own statistics regarding the Tournament and upsets. It makes sense too given the margin for error the committee has when it comes to seeding (e.g. a 10 seed could really be an underseeded 8 seed and vice versa).

Yep, all busted at ESPN, CBS, and Yahoo. NCAA.com has that last perfect bracket.

I was about 75% sure SFA would beat WVU. Didn't see MTSU beating Michigan State.

I'm sorry, but anyone that loses to us cannot be "for real". WVU must have come unprepared. This isn't the first team to do that this tournament.

...or maybe there just aren't that many dominant teams that can command a bracket.

Temple lost to ECU too. No team is above a bad day. SFA is very well coached and has a 5th year senior star player. They could win another imo.

I think with the Big 12 it's less that their teams are overrated and more that some of their programs just suck at playing tournaments. SFA is legit though. I'd take them against the Irish and give a fighting chance against Xavier.

Updated the first page for all of the first games. The Pac and B12 had horrid starts to the tournament. The B10 suffered what was probably the biggest and totally unexpected loss in Mich St.

Only a single 5 seed advanced over a 12 seed, and that was Maryland by 5 points over South Dakota St.

Really rooting for Gonzaga...they aren't getting much play and have blown out their opponents so far.
