I'm glad Western Kentucky is stuck in C-USA.

This yet another good hire.

I think some fans were called "delusional" because they thought that the school would replace him...and, it has been proven that they were, in fact, delusioned.

Good grief, no. He's just a more affordable Pastner.

Pastner doesn't hold a candle to Stansbury (that's how bad he is)

Stansbury has a Final Four and another Sweet 16

Just to review....

Rick Stansbury is a much much better coach than Josh Pastner. And it ain't even close.

Sad.

When the heck did Stansbury have a S16 and F4? What are we even talking about here - NIT?

Stansbury has very similar career stats to Pastner. Just more years. Very similar. Got players. Couldn't win big games. Lost players. Lost job (okay, that part is very different so far).

My bad. I got him confused with the coach before him. Richard Williams, I think.

Either way, both of them are much better coaches than OPIE.

Are there any grumblings about Haase? UAB after all went something like 21-6 for the season.

No grumblings at all. And we went 26-7, winning the CUSA regular season. Most wins ever in UAB history. All but one senior return for next year.

Thanks to the crappy CUSA conference, we did not have a strong enough SOS to get an at large bid. Lost in the NIT at Brigham Young Wednesday.

Haase is making 1 million at UAB with an appropriate buyout.

Thanks for asking.

MBlaze,

26-7 is amazing. What a great season.

I've recently become a part time Ham guy. Son plays for BSC so I'm in town a lot during Bball season.

I always enjoy going to Blazer games when I'm in town.

I will always root for UAB in basketball. Great program
