Personally, I was ready for a head coaching change, however the player suspensions concern me.

Ford did well at UMass and he has had enough success to hang around a Big XII school for 8 years. He wouldn't be a terrible hire.

Ford did well at UMass and he has had enough success to hang around a Big XII school for 8 years. He wouldn't be a terrible hire.

Ford is about to get canned at Ok. St. and his people have already been reaching out to WKU folks. He's a Kentucky guy, and WKU is a decent parachute when dropping from the Big XII.

I think the fact he went to UK would work against him.

Charlotte fans would be furious if we hired a Tar Heel. I'm sure WKU fans would feel the same about a UK guy.

I wouldn't mind ford. But doubtful he would get hired here.

Yep. It'd be the same with many of our fans. We did hire Ralph Willard as Head Coach after his stint as Asst. Coach at UK, however, Travis Ford played for UK so that's much, much different.

I look for Felton and Horn to re apply.

I'm fearing NCAA sanctions right now when stuff like this happens.
