I just think that the postseason is really important. And while yes, the Nova run was great, it was still only 1 year. The other 3 years, the league has vastly underachieved in the tourney.

I think the league is starting to think more and more. I mean, this year they got rid of the gimmick marathon. They got their tourney title game on Big Fox. I think a decade is too long for what you were suggesting. I'd say more like 5-6 years.

Well we are not too far apart then. I have no problem going 10-12 years and establishing the league among each other before dealing with the post-season issue. I think you fix the inside before worrying about the outside. This league is an oddity because of its make-up and because it doesn't offer football. Once XU, BU and CU are with the others for a decade, then the BE can do some window shopping.

why I would suggest waiting 10-12 years is too long is the TV deal. The TV deal is 4/12 done already. If you wait 10-12 years- the benefits of the expansion aren't shown, so wouldn't be valued as much as they should. I would think you would want to show TV how you are going to look actually on the court for 2-3 years before you go up for bidding.
