So have you come off your high from the PC win last night? I really hate PC being in where they are because if they were just about anywhere else in the bracket, I think they would have a really good shot at an elite 8. But even if they beat UNC, they have Kentucky or Indiana looming....
its kind of funny. I keep wanting more. first it was I hope PC is competitive. that evolved into beating top teams like Villanova, than "all I want is a 20 win season" Then all I want is to get to post season and I will be happy. "then just one win in tourney" Then "just beat UNC" and I ll be happy .. I expected to lose to unc but it was still disappointing. I guess I can turn my college focus to the PC hockey team (similar "all I want" theme and id be happy. Is a back to back NC really too much to ask for? 03-lmfao

hey you play Minnesota Duluth you have to throw out all the records!!! I guess should be you guys and BC in the regional final...

RE: stevers thoughts
not really surprised about the news that Bentil is looking at the Pro's. If he measures what they say he is, he's going to be an easy 1st round pick I think- the way he plays as a big guy is the new big guy in the NBA. I could see western teams looking at him as an answer for Golden State quite possibly.

Elsewhere Creighton's season ended last night vs BYU. No shame there at all. all in all, a great rebuilding year for Creighton. Losing in the QF of the NIT is no shame now that teams are selected by merit.

RE: stevers thoughts
preview of tonight's nova game:
Ken Pom's 4 factors....
1st set- Miami offense vs Nova Defense
Effective FG%: 54.0 30 46.3 31
Turnover %: 16.4 64 20.4 47
Off. Reb. %: 30.2 159 28.7 123
FTA/FGA: 41.1 69 30.9 56

2nd set- Villanova offense vs Miami defense:
Effective FG%: 55.1 15 47.7 71
Turnover %: 16.4 67 17.5 212
Off. Reb. %: 28.4 218 29.2 138
FTA/FGA: 33.8 252 28.9 35

so looking at this. 3 things really stand out...
rebounding. both teams are pretty average at rebounding. Which one can rebound better(it seems like that always is a big question, doesn't it?)
getting to the line. Miami has a pretty big advantage season long at getting to the line. Will that continue tonight?
turnovers. both teams protect the ball at darn close to the same clip- #64 vs #67. But season long, Nova has forced way more turnovers than Miami. Will that continue tonight?

tough loss after a great season. the OT games must be draining. Again I was left wanting more even though the had a great year. Regular season co-champs? a #1 seed? that's...nice but how about a win or two and another trip to frozen four? 03-lmfao

hey I've been thru OT hockey games as a fan(I'm a Caps fan). I'll probably be dying here in a month or so.

not sure folks have seen this- but Nova is favored tonight in Ken Pom.... was Kansas on Thursday but I think UVA beating Iowa St flipped the SOS enough to give it to Nova.
