But that's not someone coming in and recruiting our guys...that's players making the decision to leave.

There's a difference in someone moving on and someone wooing them to their team.

If Haase stays I think everyone else stays unless someone like Madison or Sullivan leaves for more playing time.

I hope that Sullivan sucks up some Mehinti minutes unless Tosin learns to catch a pass under the goal and dunk it. His game should be back to the basket and dimes dropped from Norton.

I hope Baxter's minutes drop as well. I'm not sure if his defense is good enough to start a 4ppg player, especially if we have one of the freshmen or Lavender who can play adequate defense and be a legit scoring option.

We lose the Alabama State game without the Hakxter, and Allah alone knows where it flushes downward from there.

That said, he did not seem to improve as much as his teammates as the season progressed, especially the Former Irk. And by the end, he was bricking clutch free throws that were automatic for him last year.

Mehinti and Baxter, combined, averaged 12 points per game in the 45 minutes playing time they took up. That appeared to be a glaring weakness and neither of them were big rebounders, either. Brown averaged less than three rebounds per game, too, and that was a bit of a weakness.

Lavender has the potential to be very good and I wouldn't be surprised to see him eventually starting. Javien is an exceptional athlete but I expect there will probably be a bit of a learning curve with him initially. He will be very good though in time. Darling I expect to come in and compete for minutes off the bench right away.

Mike Davis texting away comes to mind...

The good thing is that we won't *need* either of the freshmen next year. Anything they bring will be a nice addition. They will have many more opportunities in two years when Hak, Dirk, and Tyler are gone.

If only Mike Davis had stayed a little longer, we wouldn't have to worry about our team's post-season performance.
