STR - Houston vs. Ga. Tech game
Watched the game last night. Houston embarrassed the conference - probably similar to how we would have fared against Ga. Tech. Sampson must have called Pastner at halftime to get advice on second half adjustments.

JP substitutes every game like he is actually trying to coach a scrimmage with experimenting.

So you're saying there is a pattern to his substitutions... LOL

Yep, JP is more interested in seeing who can give him what from game to game rather than having a system that will help him know consistently what he can expect from a player. in other words, he throws sh#$ at the wall to see what sticks=inconsistent coaching and play.

This board has officially lost it. The OP is about Houston (NTR), and it instantly turns into a bash Pastner thread. This entire board has jumped the shark. Mods really need to get a handle on this. 03-puke

Then leave or offer something original besides the "Oh woe is me..." rhetoric or constant name calling.

And anyone who utters the phrase "jumped the shark", especially using it incorrectly, should iron my shorts.

I had to look it up:

Jump the shark:

a term to describe a moment when somethin that was once great has reached a point where it will now decline in quality and popularity.

Origin of this phrase comes from a Happy Days episode where the Fonz jumped a shark on waterskis. Thus was labeled the lowest point of the show.
Cousin Oliver on Brady Bunch, Scrappy Doo.

Sounds familiar, huh?
