What you hope for when you play these teams with superior size/athletes is that they lack some team concept/unity and will crumble when being beaten by a well-coached and disciplined team. (See Baylor vs. Yale!)
Yea other than the 5 minute stretch where our offense was non existent I don't have any complaints. We *could* have stolen one and it's a shame we did not but nobody saw us in the dance this year so I'll take it.
In addition to be bigger and more athletic Miami is also more experienced. A lot of seniors and juniors on that squad. Buffalo is mostly underclassmen and a couple juniors. We only lose Wiggs and Skeete this season.

They are really playing only two guys in their rotation from last season's NCAA team, it probably took this long for the guys to feel comfortable in the system and come together. UB has the most talent in the MAC IMO. I expect a very competitive game, like they gave WV last year. Keep it close and anything can happen at the end.
I thought Akron was the most talented team in the MAC.
I also thought they were the best and most talented team most of this year, but by tournament time I think that changed. Two things happened. Akron lost their Senior center that divided time with Johnson and were not able to replace him and they were not as good then, and Buffalo's young first year players played better in the tournament than they had all year.

Really other than that 3 game stretch when Bearden was out (suspended) and throwing up a terrible game vs Miami UB's young players came together in mid January.
The one guy who really turned it on on the post season was jarryn skeete.
