Board never fails to disappoint
Lose a 1-run game to a team that's ranked in the Top 10 when evidently the home plate umpire was squeezing our pitching to a ridiculous degree, and see some of the reactions here

Quite a difference in this game and the one at Minute Maid.

Wish 13th would post more. I always know what's important to him.

At least the general tone is consistent?

Rick, there were some really, truly questionable decisions made in those last two innings of the game, which one could very easily argue cost us the game. ...not to mention our running ourselves out of two more innings (one with a runner on 3B).

Yes, I do think the team played with energy and aggressiveness yesterday, but to call out headscratching decisions at the time they occur has ALWAYS been a part of being a baseball fan.

RE: Board never fails to disappoint
Wasn't there a game last year or two years ago where a team scored TWICE on the delayed steal of 2nd with a man on 3rd? We just couldn't figure it out. Now it looks like we've tried to add it (I don't remember us doing it before) and we've failed miserable both times. Our runner on 3rd didn't even break for home last night on the throw!

Another, more positive, way to say the board never fails to disappoint is to say that they always meet expectations.

I guess that makes me a Parliament defender now, and OK with mediocrity.
