20 years ago Bama fired a football coach because he only won at a .700 rate and it took them 10 years before they could get the right man for the job.
Here are Josh's W-L %'s for his career. Do you REALLY think it will take us 10 years to recover from a .560 rate? He's not getting back to a .700 winning % any time soon now that he is in the AAC.
2009-10 CUSA .706
2010-11 CUSA .714
2011-12 CUSA .743
2012-13 CUSA .861
2013-14 AAC .706
2014-15 AAC .563
2015-16 AAC .559

Ummmm...no. Twenty years ago Gene Stallings retired after a very successful stint as the head coach at Alabama. He was followed by Mike DuBose who was fired after 4 years following a 3-8 campaign. In year three, Dubose won the SEC and lost by a point in OT to Michigan in the Orange Bowl. There was more to the DuBose firing than W/L's. Franchione followed and was doing well before inexplicably leaving Bama for TX A&M.
Stallings "retired" due to allegations of doctoring transcripts at Bama and other major violations. Which forced the school to later forfeit several games and lose scholarship and spend three years on probation..
Yep, but your point implies that Alabama let him go because he wasn't winning enough. DuBose did remarkably well considering the sanctions, but was caught up in his own scandal.
Trying to compare Pastner's situation is comparing apples to ranges. If you want to keep josh because he doesn't cheat and graduates his players fine. If you want to keep him because he can coach and/or recruit, provide some solid reasons why.

Are you seriously trying to compare Gene Stallings to Josh Pastner?
The Coach K comparison has gone kind of gone to hell so they need someone else...

Actually, the only thing pinned directly on Stallings was direct involvement with Antonio Langham's agent.
